Information Systems for Logistics Management

Supply Chain Management Support Systems

The supply chain combines several processes: from purchase order, through inventory reception at the logistics center, to delivering supply to the final customer. In order to support this complex process, a number of software packages have been developed and are marketed to handle the management of logistics operations within the logistics center, design of distribution routes and control process of customers delivery. The aim is to integrate and connect as far as possible between the software that support all the supply chain activities in order to achieve lower operating costs, improve inventory reliability, optimize resources and improve customer service levels.

Enterprise Information Systems

Software package designed to manage the workflow and information flow within the organization on issues related to sales, human resources, procurement, service, inventory, manufacturing, etc. The system provides an integrated solution that directly and immediately connects the various software modules, without the need for interfaces while maintaining up-to-date (online) level of information, uniform user interface for all system employees, accurate and uniform information throughout the system. In a way saving multiple data entry and data duplication.

Service and support centers

Design and characterization of internal and external service centers, for various areas such as IT, service and others. Defining call scenarios, solutions and escalation for different faults and inquiries based on CRM systems or other dedicated systems.

Integration

One of the most significant challenge in integrating and characterizing the overall solution for the organization system is the delimitation of responsibility and integration between all the systems involved in the implementation of the solution.

Software testing and quality assurance

Characterization and design of test programs at various levels for software systems, automation and integration between systems, including execution of end-to-end testing processes, definition of tests scripts and validation of logistics and enterprise information systems.
